5/6 Watchlist: Stocks

The market resumed Greek Panic Mode today, and does it ever show on the Watchlist. So I have exit decisions to make in order to avoid maximum losses at expiration after the market closes on May 21.

Friday is an important day: We've seen a huge decline over a very few days. In the normal pattern, it's time for people to bid up prices a bit as they find bargains.

However, if the fear is deep enough, then no one will want to hold over the weekend. Who knows what those crazy Europeans might do? Neanderthals!

One new addition, ABT, to the bear list. I've not removed any issues from the list so I can study how things play out.

Stocks that showed Parabolic SAR . . .

Bull signals:
  • * CIEN, 4/26. Down 7%.
  • CVX, 5/3. Down 3%
  • PCAR, 4/23. Down 3%
  • * UNP, 4/29. Down 4%
  • XLE, 4/17. I pegged this as a $56 to $60 May iron condor. It's trading around $55.90, just below the profitable range.
  • XLI, 5/3. Down 4%
Bear signals:
