5/13 Morningline

Blue-chip stocks (SPY) and Treasury long-term bonds (TLT) were trading narrowly this morning, stocks down and bond prices up, both by very samll amounts.

The so-called fear index, the VIX, was up about 2% above Wednesday's close.

Only one of the indicators I follow had moved by more than a full percentage point: Oil (USO) was down by about 1.5%.

High-yield corporate debt (JNK) showed a new parabolic sar bull signal.
