On Monday, Dec. 6: No economic reports.

There are 12 days before the December options expire, 47 the January and 75 the February.

Stats

Blue chip stocks (SPY) closed the latest regular session up 0.3% from the prior close. During the day SPY traversed 0.8% in a net move up of 0.6%.

The day's extremes: Open $122.14, high $122.63, low $121.11, close $122.89.

SPY traded entirely within the DeMark pivots. The next DeMark pivots are $122.50-$123.42.

In total, 2.6 billion shares were traded on the three major U.S. stock exchange, 14% fewer than on the prior trading day.

Five-year bond yields imply inflation at 1.77%, down 2 basis points from the prior trading day.


Econ reports:

No economic reports are scheduled for release. Treasury will announce results of the 4-week T-auction at 11 a.m. Eastern.

The week's major report is international trade, on Friday.


Trading Calendar:

By my rules, at this point in the cycle I can trade January vertical and calendar spreads, and February straddles, calls and puts. And of course, shares are good at any time.
