FTR Watch

I've closed my position in Frontier Communications Corp. (FTR) for reasons outlined in my Dec. 17 posting and update.

What tipped the balance was the on-balance volume, which showed a lower low and is moderating a small rise at a lower level than than the prior high.

With two out of three technical signals in bear phase (Person's Proprietary Signal and the macd) and with the next dividend nearly a full quarter away, my motivation for continuing to hold FTR is fading fast.

I opened the position by buying shares. In the 28 days the position was active, the price rose by 4%. Figure in the 18.75¢ dividend, and the total gain was 6.05%
