5/3 Morningline: Holdings

Three of my options positions, BBY, GE and QQQQ, took a beating on Friday. BBY opened today at the low end of Friday's range, and continued to slide.

GE popped back up into the middle of Friday's range. QQQQ was up 0.9% from Friday's close.

Time to exit BBY -- Hail and farwell, we hardly knew ye.

CIEN, which rose amid Friday's carnage, rose some more today, pushing past a near-term reversal level.

Dividend play JNK was declining, down 0.6% from Friday's close. NLY, another dividend play and one that has shown sharp declines of late, rose half a percent.

Zombie shares MCO were up 1.5%.

Special situation PALM was trading unchanged. It is in the process of being acquired by HPQ for cash.
