Wednesday's Outcomes

I cleared my account of the unprofitable in-the-money short option spreads that expire next Saturday, thereby avoiding the prospect of logging in on Monday and seeing a ton of short shares tumble out of my account.

It was not a good week, with four losing positions.: AMZN, BABA, GOOGL and XOM. I've updated their analyses with results, as follows:
I analyzed XLY but declined to take the trade. See today's post, "XLY: Bull play, shorter-term rules".
