Roads not taken

I've stated my dislike of trades based on news that has already become public, and there were a bunch of those today.

Here are some psar signals from my scan that I chose not to analyze, and why.

• SUSQ, bear, pricing of a secondary offering.
• FACT, bull, on a buyout
• AEO, bull, earnings
• DAL, bull, analysts

FACT certainly kept the buyout under wraps. There's not a hint in the technicals of the looming news. The psar had turned bearish on Tuesday, as had the macd. The sto had plummetted below the oversold line, and the mfi was heading that way. The price had moved below the 20-day moving average.
