Thursday's Outcomes

I closed my position in PNC and my BP hedge to free up funds for new trades. I've updated PNC with results. The BP results will wait the sale of the shares, and I'll do an overall calculation at that time of how shares and hedges failed.

My shares in AAPL, opened Oct. 24, 2014, had been intended as a position lasting at least a year in order to qualify for a cheaper tax rate. My new volatility strategy has proven to be so lucrative that I closed AAPL early to free up funds for the shorter-term trades and have updated the analysis with results.

I opened three positions coinciding with earnings announcements, in SLB, AXP and STX.
