Tuesday's Prospects: Round 2

Many of the symbols that survived my first-round of analysis failed confirmation, as I would expect after a move of Monday's magnitude. (See "Tuesday's Prospects" for the first round results.)

Three, all bear signals, made it to the second round: FITB, HBHC and TCB. I determined that HBHC and TCB were too illiquid to support a bear play.

First Fifth Third Bancorp (FITB) was the sole survivor of my second-round screening and I'll be writing a full analysis later today.

My trading rules can be read here. And the classic Turtle Trading rules on which my rules are based can be read here.

No trader is ever 100 percent successful in his or her trades. Trading in the stock and option markets is risky and uncertain. Each trader must make trading decision decisions for his or her own account, and take responsibility for the consequences.
