My scan of stocks with intra-day volume of 100,000 or more at around noon Eastern, showed lots of counter-trend signals, and all signals were bearish.
So, gritting our teeth, let's survey the damage.
Stocks that showed Parabolic SAR bull signals:
- A, 4/15. A pullback from a new high. I'm exiting the signal as a SUCCESS for a 2.8% gain.
- * CIEN, 4/26. A large drop to the bottom of Friday's trading range. My principal signals -- parabolic sar and Person's Proprietary Signal -- remain bullish, although the macd and stochastic are deterioriating.
- COH, 4/22, 4/23. A pps bear signal. I'm exiting the signal as a FAILURE for a 0.7% loss.
- PCAR, 4/23.A sharp decline into Friday's range, but the psar and pps remain bullish.
- * QQQQ, 4/21.A decline and a pps bear signal. I'm exiting the signal as a FAILURE for 0.6% loss. I'll retain my bull call spread position and do remediation if the decline continues. (The nice thing about options -- infinite flexiblity.)
- WSM, 4/21. A decline of the high but the psar and pps remain bullish.
- XLE, 4/17. I pegged this as a $56 to $60 May iron condor. It is above the max-profit range but has dropped much closer to profitability.
- XLY, 4/21. A sharp drop into last Thursday's range with a pps bear signal. I'm existing the signal as a SUCCESS for a 0.8% gain.
- XRT, 4/22.A decline off the high but the psar and pps remain in bull phase.

Stocks showing a Parabolic SAR bear signal: None.
Stocks of interest (I wouldn't necessarily trade them):
- FNM, 4/13, 4/23. Agnostic. A decline to the lower trendline and then a pull back. The price is in a symmetrical triangle pattern.
- * PALM, 2/26, 4/23. Agnostic. Buyout candidate. Down within the normal range. Where are those buyers, anyway?
