Couple of Changes

I'm making a couple of a changes to this market letter, both of them minor, but sort of important.

One is to start using a dollar sign when quoting the price of corporate shares or exchange traded funds. It's a reminder that real money is on the table with each trade. The common practice of quoting prices just using the numbers moves the quote a step away from the underlying reality. . . .

Indexes will still be numbers only -- they are abstract constructions -- and I'll denote the currency quoted in discussing forex currenciy pairs. For example, EUR/USD is dollars, but USD/JPY is yen.

The second change. I'm renaming the Lookahead, generally the last post of the day, as the Almanac. The content is the same. It focuses on setting up the next day: What economic reports to expect, where the options expirations stand, what months are appropriate to trade, what to look for. The new name seems to fit the content better.

Opening bell in 10 minutes. Good trading!
