TCX Watch

The internet services company Tucows Inc. (TCX) is showing a huge volume spike today with no change in price. The company's CEO yesterday bought 26,900 shares. Speculators, no doubt, think he must have a good reason for doing that.

TCX $0.68

More than 2 million shares of TCX have changed hands today. A normal trading day is fewer than 50,000 shares.

Clearly, this magnitude of spike is based on the expectation of a news surprise coming down the pike.
