The Trade

I'm direction-neutral in my assessment of LRCX.

The premium is $0.85, which is 34% of the width of the position’s wings. The stock at the time of analysis was priced at $74.41.

The risk/reward ratio is 1.8:1.

The zone of profit in the proposed trade covers a $10 move either way. The biggest immediate move after each of the past four earnings announcements was $5.85, and the average was $2.90.

Decision for My Account

I've placed an order on LRCX as described above, but couldn't obtain a fill at a price that met my needs. The order expired without being completed.
