Monday's Finalist: WLP

The Indiana-based health benefits company WellPoint Inc. (WLP) was the lone symbol to make it past the early analytical hurdles. It confirmed its bull signal in trading on Monday. (See "Monday's Prospects".)

However, WLP's options grid has low open interest in the double digits or less. I require open interest of 100 or more before I'll trade an options contract.

My interest at this point is entirely in trades that provide the leverage and hedging abilities available through options. Therefore, I'm not proceeding to a full analysis of WLP and won't be trading any signals from Friday's market session.
