Friday's Outcomes: PFE, EWZ, VIP

I did no analysis today of "Friday's Prospects" because a scheduling conflict took me away from my trading desk much of the day. I'll run the numbers over the weekend and post as appropriate.

I've closed my position in PFE, which proved to be one of the more complex exits I've managed. I've updated my original analysis, "PFE: Pharmaceutical sideways play", with results and an extended discussion, with a chart, about how I managed the exit.

I looked into how to trade EWZ with neutral implied volatility, neither high nor low. Read what I found in "Shorting the unshortble".

VIP has been on the Watchlist waiting for a chance to trade as a bull play. No dice. It traded below the 10-day price channel on Thursday and confirmed the exit signal today, so off the Watchlist VIP shall fly.
