SPY continues to trade narrowly at the top of yesterday's range.
TLT has also risen to the top of the range and is showing a bull flag from Person's Proprietary Signal, which may or may not prove fleeting; it's a volatile sort of signal, is Mr. Person's.
GLD continues to rise, marking a seventh straight trading day of higher highs and higher lows.
JNK is in the fourth day of a hh/hl pattern.
So altogether, for those of the bullish ilk, it is setting up to be a mildly good day, like the happy buzz I get on the first sunny day of spring. Or from the first pint of hand-crafted bear at my favorite brew-pub.
Market analyst Kenneth Posner creates a new framework for managing extreme risk based on lessons learned in the recent collapse of capitalist finance.
Stocks that showed Parabolic SAR bull signals:
- ANF, analysis. New today.
- * BBY, analysis. The macd weakened.
- KRE, analysis.
- SPY, analysis.
- USO, analysis. Pulled back with a pps bear signal (that may or may not be fleeting). Even so, with a deteriorating macd and stochastic to back the decision, I'm closing the watch on USO. The bull signal was a SUCCESS for a 1.8% increase.
- XLE, analysis.
- XLF, analysis.
- XRT, analysis.
Stocks showing a Parabolic SAR bear signal: None.
Stocks of interest (I wouldn't necessarily trade them):
- CUT, analysis. Bull trend on huge volume increase. New today.
- FNM, analysis. Pennant pattern. Psar bull signal with the price at the top trendline.
