4/6 Watchlist: Stocks

Blue-chip  stocks (SPY) began rising at 11:30 a.m. Eastern, before the Federal Open Market Committee released the minutes of its last meeting, and used the occasion of the 2 p.m. release to bump up a little further.

The committee used the "extended period" language again in connection with the present really low interest rates (I think zero qualifies as low).

Long-term Treasury bonds (TLT) had another down day within the bounds of Friday's decline, and could be fairly said to be indifferent to the whole minutes thing.

Nothing new on the stocks watchlist. Which is a good thing, because it means that everything is either in neutral or behaving as the signals indicated.
