4/16 Morningline: Holdings

Among my holdings, a day for extreme behavior.

Dividend play NLY is showing a breakdown, returning to the low level set on March 30.

EEM and GE, both May options directional spreads, are showing sharp declines. GE's comes on an earnings announcement that "beat the Street", as one report had it. My position is bearish on EEM, so in that case, deterioration is good.

MCO, an April covered call, has fallen by 5.8% high to low so far today. That puts the price below the $29 strike price, and so the option will expire worthless after today's trading and I'll keep the stock.

My other holdings -- AOD, BBY, PALM -- have kept calm so far.
