4/15 Rejected

Here are the stocks that showed new parabolic sar signals but didn't make the cut for the Watchlist.

Earnings too near:
  • DAL, bear, 4/20
  • EBAY, bull, 4/21
  • STEC, bull, 5/11
  • STX, bull, 4/20
  • VOD, bull, 5/18. Also news that it will offer the iPad in the U.K. once international sales began.
Signal based on news:
  • SCHW, bear, went ex-dividend.
Lack of a trend or counter-trend:
  • RIMM, bull, adx of 21. The signal is with the "trend", but it's not much of a trend. I fear whipsaws.
  • SAI, bull, counter-trend. The adx is acceptable at 32, but I dislike counter-trend plays. Also, the rise brings the price to the brink of a huge gap down on earnings last month. That's a lot of resistance to overcome.
